We are working on some exciting new opportunities in a cloud solutions business focusing on Spend Analytics.

You will be a key player in their US business helping to accelerate the growth of a market-leading, niche cloud vendor. They are in a unique position in an exciting expanding market.

Best of all is that they are driving and creating a new market for themselves as their solutions-based approach disrupts current models which are typically technology or service-based. Their solutions do both.

They use data and AI to generate actionable insights across all areas of business spend to help clients make smarter decisions around this spend. They develop customized solutions so are looking for people who will work with clients to really understand their needs and develop tailored solutions that blend both a technical product and service-based solution.

So if you are a solution led person with experience in procurement and supply chain and understand how to create solutions for your client then this could be an ideal role for you.

The business has had great success in taking people focused on roles in solutions, customer success or even in analytics and developing them into sales professionals. If you work alongside salespeople and often think ‘I did that – I created the solution’ then this could be an opportunity for you.

You’ll need to be focused and target driven but this isn’t a traditional cold calling sales role, it’s following up leads and developing a solution. You will need to be highly proactive to succeed.

If you are a salesperson, you will need to be highly adaptable and have experience in developing and selling solutions, not technology products – off the shelf doesn’t work nor does a rigid approach.

Our client need’s people who can adapt their style and be humble and that are used to talking to real C level executives often in procurement and finance.

Strong candidates for this role will offer the following:

  • A proven solutions or sales background with a track record of achieving ambitious growth targets.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement technology solutions markets.
  • Experience in developing solutions or selling into national or international accounts would be advantageous.
  •  The ability to adapt and improve strategy over time is desirable.
  • Target based approach – strong desire to improve and change personal and business performance.
  • Strong team player skills are critical.
  • Highly proactive and collaborative.
